During the course of the week, news broke that Real Madrid FC Portuguese star, Christiano Ronaldo has been accused of tax evasion and was to be prosecuted by the Spanish authorities.

Then, the next information that filtered in was that CR7 as he is fondly called by his admirers was threatening to quit Real Madrid over this allegation which has not been proven.

One recollects vividly how several sports and entertainment stars have been accused in the past of tax evasion for which they stood trial and got justice with the most recent, if my memory serves me right, being Barcelona FC and Argentine star, Lionel Messi and throughout his trial, one never saw Messi display conduct which portrayed or insinuated his tax evasion trial as a persecution, witch hunt, selectiveness, etc by threatening to leave Spain as CR7 is doing now.

Coming back home, this crude threat to leave Spain just because he has been accused of an offence which is not a conviction yet but has to be proven by facts, makes one wonder whether Ronaldo is not being haunted by his conscience which we are told is an open wound that only truth can heal, hence the resort to threat and blackmail.

Before, now one had taught that this type of uncivilized conduct of blackmail to distract against allegations in need of proof was an exclusive preserve of only Nigerians standing trial for corruption and their supporters, but CR7 by this conduct is proving that crudity is also in vogue in Europe, so we ask, is Christiano Ronaldo above the law that he cannot be questioned?

HEART ATTACKS AND WATER !

By Kingmile

How many folks do you know who say they don’t want to drink anything before going to bed because they’ll have to get up during the night.

Heart Attack and Water – I never knew all of this ! Interesting…….

Something else I didn’t know … If you ask your doctor he will tell you why people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from a Cardiac Doctor – Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!

I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water…

Very Important. From A Cardiac Specialist!

Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body.

2 glasses of water after waking up – helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal – helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath – helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed – avoids stroke or heart attack

I can also add to this… A doctor told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.

Mayo Clinic Aspirin Dr. Virend Somers, is a Cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic, who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. and noon. Having one during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, means that something unusual happened. Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.

1. If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night.

The reason: Aspirin has a 24-hour “half-life”; therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the Aspirin would be strongest in your system.

2. FYI, Aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest, for years, (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar).

Please read on…

Something that we can do to help ourselves – nice to know. Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue.

They work much faster than the tablets.

Why keep Aspirin by your bedside? It’s about Heart Attacks.

There are other symptoms of a heart attack, besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating; however, these symptoms may also occur less frequently.

Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.

The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.

Afterwards: – Call 911. – Phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by.- Say “heart attack!” – Say that you have taken 2 Aspirins.

Take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and …DO NOT LIE DOWN!

A Cardiologist has stated that if each person after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life could be saved!

I have already shared this information. What about you?

Do forward this message. It may save lives!

Duterte risks impeachment, Philippine senators say

Duterte is alive and well, presidential spokesman says amid health rumours

Two Philippine senators are of the opinion that President Rodrigo Duterte risks impeachment after he admitted “personally” killing criminals when he was the mayor of Davao City.

According to Senator Leila de Lima, a staunch critic of Duterte, the president’s admission could be a ground for impeachment.

“That is betrayal of public trust and that constitutes high crimes because mass murders certainly fall into the category of high crimes. And high crimes is a ground for impeachment under the constitution,” de Lima told CNN on Thursday.

Duterte boasted to business leaders on Monday that as Davao City mayor he used to prowl the streets on a big motorcycle looking for “an encounter to kill” just to show to local law enforcers he can do it.

“I used to do it personally,” Duterte said. “If I can do it why can’t you?”

More than 2,000 people have been killed in police anti-drug operations since Duterte became president in July. Almost all were shot when they resisted arrest.

“I don’t think things happen in the Russian government of this consequence without Vladimir Putin knowing about it,” Ben Rhodes, the White House’s deputy national security adviser, told MSNBC. “When you’re talking about a significant cyber intrusion like this, we’re talking about the highest levels of government.”

RUSSIA HACKING: Trump Jr., Kushner met with Russian lawyer, New York Times reveals

A day after President Donald Trump of the United States of America and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed allegations of election meddling during the G20 summit, the New York Times has revealed a damning report over the alleged hacking.

The report by the New York Times reveals that Trump’s eldest son, his son-in-law and former election campaign manager met with a Russian lawyer linked to the Kremlin soon after Trump clinched the Republican presidential nomination last year.

Donald Trump Jr. confirmed the get-together in a statement, describing it as “a short introductory meeting” that focused mainly on the issue of child adoption. He said he also asked Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner and then-campaign manager Paul Manafort to take part in the meeting. A lawyer for Kushner said Trump’s son-in-law “briefly attended” the meeting.

Continuing, Trump Jr said; “But it was not a campaign issue at that time and there was no follow up,” he said in the statement. “I was asked to attend the meeting by an acquaintance, but was not told the name of the person I would be meeting with beforehand.”

Recall that after the US elections, intelligence agencies concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered hacking of Democratic political groups to discredit the election and sway the voting towards Republican Trump, who won an upset victory in November.

Moscow has however denied any such meddling. Trump also has dismissed the allegations, suggesting instead that Obama might have wiretapped his Trump Tower in New York or that China may have been behind the cyber attacks

Reports say the email was sent by Rob Goldstone, a publicist and former British tabloid reporter who helped broker the June 2016 meeting between the younger Mr. Trump and Russian officials.
